Our Farm
Housed on 93 acres and owned by Bloomfield Hills Schools since 1967. Animals such as sheep, horses, cattle, and goats graze the pastures along with acres of vegetable production, community gardens, and curated horticultural gardens.
Our mission is to cultivate community through education and engagement with agriculture and the local food system.
The authenticity of a small-scale working farm connects students and the community to where their food comes from. Learning comes alive with meaning and purpose as we welcome every learner to discover and wonder in the world around them. Bowers School Farm has something to explore each season!

Everything Harvest:

Organic pest management can be a challenge. If you’d like to learn safe ways to take care of your garden, join us for the pest management workshop this Saturday. We’ll talk about how to avoid problems and what to do when you find a pest. Follow the link in bio to register.

Tomatoes! They are one of my favorite things to grow. I think pruning and trellising is the most satisfying garden task. We’ll be talking all about technique and trellis building at this week’s gardening workshop. And we’ll touch on options for peppers, eggplants, peas, and cucumbers as well. Follow the link in our bio to sign up.
