Group and Private Rental Registrations

GROUPS & TENT RENTAL OPTIONS for tubing

We are offering group tickets with reserved picnic tables, along with semi - and full- facility rental in combination with tubing tickets at Winter Park for groups. The tent is slightly heated by a single source, so warm clothes will still be required. Picnic tables will be in the tent for your use. Note that there is NO ice skating this year.

No alcohol is permitted or allowed on the premises.

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Group Options:

  • Smaller Groups of 85 people or less (Saturdays and Sundays with 1 tubing time and 2 hour reserved table(s).

  • Larger Groups of up to 200 people (Wednesdays at 7p - 9p with 2 tubing times and tables reserved from 7-9p).

  • Private Groups up to 350 people (private facility rental on Wednesdays at 5p-7p).

Smaller Groups

  • 20 - 85 people

  • Available Sat. & Sun.

  • Package Cost: $500 for 20 people (includes tubing ticket, donut and hot chocolate for each person and reserved table space in the tent).

  • Additional people up to 85: $25 per person for tubing tickets, and $10 per person for non-tubing tickets. The maximum amount of people, combined tubing tickets plus non-tubing tickets is 85 people. Each ticket include reserved space and a donut and hot chocolate.

  • Maximum number of people for reserved space in the tent is 85 people.

Details:

Available: Saturdays & Sundays at

  • 12:30p-2:30 (tubing at 1p), or

  • 3:30p-5:30p (tubing at 4), or

  • 6:30p-8:30p (tubing at 7p).

Tubing times for up to 85 guests for a 50-minute slot with paid tubing ticket.

Everyone attending must be a paid guest with a tubing ticket or non-tubing ticket to be included in reserved tables.

The maximum number of guests is 85 with reserved tables (85 combined total of tubers and non-tubers).

You may use the reserved tables only during your rental time. Clean up and removal of your items at the reserved tables must be completed at the end of your time to allow for the next group.

No outside food other than a celebration cake (cakes only for registered groups).

Winter Park is open to the public during this time and the tent will be used by others. Tubing tickets not purchased for your group will be sold to the public up to the 85 max tubers per time slot.

Larger Groups - Semi Private

  • Up to 200 people

  • Available select Wednesdays @ 7p-9p.

  • Package Cost: $5,000 for up to 200 people includes reserved seating space and hot chocolate.

Details:

Tubing times at 7p and 8p.

Jet’s Pizza order add-on option.

Use of the tent and tables with the public (though the public finishes tubing by 7p).

The maximum number of guests allowed is 200 for this rental.

All recreation will end at 8:50 pm.

The park closes at 9pm and guests must be cleaned up and out by 9pm.

No outside food is allowed except a celebration cake.

All food must be ordered in advance through our concessions team; a menu will be provided closer to your event date.

Winter Park is open to the public during your rental time, but public tubing will end at the start of your rental.

Full Tent & Facility Rental

  • Up to 350 people.

  • Available select Wednesdays @ 5p-9p.

  • Package Cost: $10,000

  • Included are up 350 tubing tickets.

Details:

All recreation will end at 8:50 pm.

The park closes at 9pm and guests must be cleaned up and out by 9pm.

You will be responsible for providing your own food, i.e., food trucks or caterer within the tent.

The building will be closed and entry will only be allowed for access to the restrooms.

Bowers Farm kitchen and store will be closed and unavailable.

Restrooms will be available in the building.


Other details Regarding all Groups and Rentals:

  • You must review and follow all rules and FAQs on the Ticket page.

  • Waivers will be required for all attendees. You will receive an email in December with details for waivers.

  • You may not setup prior to your rental time.

  • You must clean up your tables and your space inside of the tent by the end of your rental time.

  • Picnic tables will be in the tent for your use. You can not move any picnic tables provided in the tent.

  • You can only use tables assigned to your group.

  • No special requests.

  • The full tent is 40’ x 60’ and is slightly heated.

  • No alcohol is permitted or allowed on the premises at any time.

  • All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

General Rules:

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following Rules and Waiver:

  1. Ticketholder understands that they must not slide down the hill until the tube lane is clear.

  2. Ticketholder understands that they should immediately exit the tube lane upon completion of the run, keeping a careful lookout for oncoming snow tubes.

  3. Ticketholder agrees to heed all signs and follow the directions of the tube hill attendants.

  4. Ticketholder accepts the rental equipment in AS IS condition.

  5. Ticketholder will allow only 1 person per tube for the rental.

  6. Ticketholder will allow only 1 person per tube to ride down the hill.

  7. Ticketholder understand that only one tube can go down the lane at a time.

  8. Ticketholder will quickly get out of the tube and exit the hill to avoid injury.

  9. Ticketholder understands that this is a sport which may include high speeds, and accept that injury may happen.

Waivers and Releases - Consent by attending Winter Park

Crowd Release - Media Release:

By entering an event or program at Bowers School Farm and Winter Park, visitors are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. Your entry constitutes your consent to such photography, filming and/or recording and to any use, in any and all media in perpetuity, of your appearance, voice and name for any purpose in connection with Bowers School Farm and Winter Park. Visitors understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent given by you by entering this area.

By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.

If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter Winter Park.

 

General Waiver:

WINTER PARK WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By purchasing tickets and signing this Waiver and Release of Liability Form, the below named Participant, and if a minor the below named Participant’s parent or guardian on the minor’s behalf, is representing that they have voluntarily agreed to participate in the Winter Park event (the “Event”) held at Bowers Farm located at 1219 Square Lake Road, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan 48304, owned by Bloomfield Hills Schools (the “School District”),  which Event is exclusively operated and managed by the Friends of Bowers Farm Corporation (the “FOBF), and acknowledges that the Participant is in good health and good physical condition and hereby assumes any and all risks and dangers associated with the Event, including, but not limited to serious bodily injury, including death.  Participants are expected to follow all the rules identified in registration for the Event and those posted on-site at the Event or on the website for the Event, including but not limited to: listening and following safety instructions, respecting Event staff in charge and other participants and accepting all rental equipment in its “As-IS condition.

 In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Event, Participant acknowledges, understands, and agrees: 

  1. Participant assumes all of the risks inherent in and associated with participation in the Event, including but not limited to the risk of damage to property, injury, permanent disability and death, which might result from the actions, inactions, or negligence of Participant or others, and other risks not known or not reasonably foreseeable at this time, and assumes full responsibility for their participation in the Event.  Once tickets are purchased to the Event there will be NO REFUNDS.

  2. Participant, for themselves, their spouse, and on behalf of their heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue the FOBF, its officers, directors, employees, contractors,  volunteers, agents and licensees, the School District, its Board of Education, its Board Members, in their official and individual capacities, its administrators, employees, contractors,  volunteers, agents and licensees (collectively “Releasees”), for any and all injury, loss or damage to person or property incident to or arising from their participation in the Event, including medical treatment and related costa whether arising in whole or in part from their negligence, the Releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  3. Participant, for themselves, their spouse, and on behalf of their heirs, assigns, personal representative and next of kin, hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless all the above Releasees for any and all liabilities they incur incident to or arising from their participation in the Event, even if arising in whole or in part from the negligence of the Releasees, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  4. Participant agrees to comply with the stated and customary terms, conditions and rules for participation in the Event.  If Participant has any concerns about their readiness for participation and/or the Event, Participant agrees to remove themselves from participation and to bring any concerns to the attention of officials of the FOBF as soon as practicable. 

  5. Participant certifies that to the best of  their knowledge, they are able to safely participate in the Event.

  6. By entering the Event, Participant acknowledges that they are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. Entry to the Event constitutes Participant’s consent to any such photography, filming and/or recording and to any use, in any and all media in perpetuity, including Participant’s appearance, voice and name for any purpose in connection with the Event. Participants further acknowledge that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent given by Participant upon entering the Event. By entering the Event, Participant waives and releases any claims related to the use of recorded media of Participant at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media. If Participant does not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the Event.

Participant has read and understands this entire Waiver and Release of Liability Form. Participant has signed it freely and voluntarily and without any inducement. Participant realizes this is a legally binding agreement that may not be modified or rescinded.

If Participant is eighteen (18) years of age or older, Participant may sign on their own behalf. If Participant is a minor under eighteen (18) years of age, this Waiver and Release of Liability Form must be signed by the Participant’s Parent or Guardian (Minimum of 1 signature required) and shall bind both the Parent/Guardian and the minor Participant.
